FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your first session is a chance for us to get to know you—your story, goals, and what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore your current concerns and history at your pace, and begin creating a plan that supports your healing journey.

  • Sessions typically last 50 minutes. This time is set aside for you to explore, process, and receive support in a safe, nonjudgmental space.

  • Yes. Your privacy is extremely important to us. What you share in session stays between you and your therapist, with a few legal exceptions related to safety or court orders, which we’ll go over during intake.

  • Most clients meet weekly to start, which help builds momentum and trust. We can adjust frequency as needed based on your goals and progress.

  • We understand that things come up! Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee. You can reschedule by contacting your therapist directly or through the client portal.

  • Yes, we currently accept Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Aetna, Cigna, United HealthCare, Oscar, Oxford, Quest Behavioral Health and offer private pay options.

  • Progress looks different for everyone, but you may notice improved mood, better coping, stronger relationships, and more clarity. Your therapist will check in regularly to reflect on goals and celebrate growth.

  • Yes! All sessions are offered virtually through SimplePractice, a HIPAA-compliant platform that ensures your privacy and security. You can access sessions from your phone, tablet, or computer—no downloads required.

    Therapy is available to clients located in Texas, Florida, and Mississippi. Our secure platform makes it easy to get support from the comfort of your home, no matter where you are in those states.
